Madison Burrows was sitting in an Uber with her two sisters – aged two and 11 – as well as her auntie when a car driving in the wrong lane drove directly towards them.
The teen told how their taxi attempted to dodge the oncoming vehicle but a motor was in the neighbouring lane in Wythenshawe, Manchester, last Sunday.
She recalled the incident being a blur after the car hit the passenger side where she sat, remembering she quickly checked on her two younger siblings to make sure they were okay.
Reports from the scene on March 9 alleged the car ‘flipped’ and hit a pedestrian and his dog causing fatal injuries after crashing into the taxi.
Ms Burrows, who was sat inside the Uber, revealed she would never be able to forget the ‘traumatising’ scene she witnessed after emerging from the car.
She told Manchester Evening News, how at first glance she saw the dog, adding: ‘It was my sister who then started screaming. I looked and saw the man at the side of the road.
‘Seeing the man and his dog at the side of the road was one of the most traumatising things ever.
