A semi-detached property up for sale has taken the internet by storm and divided users on the ‘insane’ retro interior.
The three-bedroom house, which was up for grabs for £250,000, has caused a stir on social media for its retro rooms.
A video shared on the TikTok page, housinghorrors, started with: ‘I just found a 1970s dream house for sale on Rightmove, check this out because the interior is insane.’
Once the video cuts to the lounge of the house, the hosts said: ‘Oh my days I have never seen so many patterns in my entire life.
‘You know what, I’m going to say it right now, I actually don’t mind it. It actually feels very happy, it feels very warming, very cosy. It’s very quaint.
‘And it’s safe to say some very happy grandparents lives or lived in this property once upon a time.’
Throughout the property, the floral theme is evident and is apparent from the moment you step through the door.
From the couch to the bedrooms, the colours are right in your face and it’s a very happy looking house.

‘You know what, I’m going to say it right now, I actually don’t mind it. It actually feels very happy, it feels very warming, very cosy. It’s very quaint.
The video goes to say: ‘Obviously it’s not going to be to everyone’s taste, a lot of people are going to suggest its very outdated but it’s nice to see the owner’s personality reflected in the actual interior.
‘How many times on this page do you see those dull boring grey modernised interiors. This has character. It’s playful, it’s colourful. It just feels well-lifted and a happy cosy home’.
However, the property is not to everyone’s taste and some people shared their disapproval on the design.
One said: ‘I’d have to redecorate/tone it down as clashing colours and busy patterns are a sensory nightmare for me, but lovely sizes to the rooms.’
Another user said: ‘I love it. I’d change it, but I love it.’
Meanwhile another user did not hold back, saying: ‘If I wanted to live in the 1950s I would go live with Nigel Farage.’
While another simply commented: ‘It looks like a migrane.’

But others weren’t so critical and even said the design had uplifted them.
One user wrote: ‘You’re absolutely right! Whoever decorated that house must’ve been such a happy soul. All those colours and flower patterns just radiate joy it looks like a place full of good vibes and love!’
It comes after a seemingly ordinary home in Northamptonshire has been put on the market for £165,000, but its contrasting interior has left some shocked.
The yellow property located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, appears to be similar to every other house on the perfectly ordinary street.
But one step inside the home tells an entirely different story, leaving some surprised by its ‘crazy’ and ‘chaotic’ décor.
Baroque-style wallpaper is sprawled along the hallways walls, which are also adorned with various photographs from different time periods as well as mirrors.
Bright pink beads drape down from a door frame, as its flamboyant and bright red carpet and fuchsia lamp clash with the walls.
The theme continues into the living room of the two-bedroom property, as striped as well as floral blue paper decorates the walls alongside several photographs.

Accents of bright pink continue throughout the room, as a table draped in a multicoloured table cloth sits at the centre.
China plates as well as what appears to be collectable toys sit on a cabinet, staring down any visitors who may sit on the sofa.
A TikTok user who goes by Housing Horrors, described the homely property as ‘organised chaos’.
‘There is so much going on, I almost don’t know where to look,’ the social media user said: ‘But at the same time it also looks organised.
‘This place does look very well lived in, very loving home, very caring family whoever lives here but there is just a lot going on.’

The TikTok user also noted that the kitchen, drowned with copious amounts of fridge magnets, was in his opinion, ‘the icing on the cake’.
