BBCA 31-year-old man has appeared in private at Jedburgh Sheriff Court charged with murder.
It follows the discovery of a woman’s body at a property in Chirnside during the early hours of Sunday.
Corey Dryden from Berwickshire made no plea during a brief appearance.
He was remanded in custody to appear again within eight days.
