Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy has reportedly been flooded with offers for reality TV stints following the singer’s death.

Kate, 25, has been keeping a low-profile of late but made her first TV appearance this week with Lorraine Kelly, where she revealed she is still struggling to accept the One Direction star’s death after he fell from a hotel balcony in October.

Now she is said to be weighing up her options going forward and would like to appear on ITV’s biggest reality show, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

A source told The Sun: ‘Kate is at a crossroads in her life. She’s bravely dealing with her grief but at the same time she’s being flooded with offers and amazing opportunities and she’s considering all her options.

‘I’m A Celebrity is the one show she’d love to do above all else as she has emotional ties to it.

‘It was her and Liam’s favourite programme and they talked about how much they’d both love to go into the jungle. Taking part would be a great comfort to her and make her feel close to Liam.’

Earlier this week, Kate broke down in tears as she told Lorraine that she still has ‘harder days’ coming to terms with his loss – and that she still refers to him in the present tense because it ‘stings’ to accept that he is gone

MailOnline has contacted Kate’s representatives for comment.

Earlier this week, Kate broke down in tears as she told Lorraine that she still has ‘harder days’ coming to terms with his loss – and that she still refers to him in the present tense because it ‘stings’ to accept that he is gone.

She said: ‘I find myself talking about him so much in the present tense. I don’t feel the need to correct myself.

‘That’s part of my healing journey: I’m still working on accepting that he’s not here anymore. It almost stings that little bit more. It feels more official.’

Her voice audibly breaking, sounding on the verge of tears, she added: ‘It’s really hard to accept. I never thought I would be talking about him in the past tense.’

Kate said her family and friends had been a vital support network for her in the months since Liam was found dead after falling from a third-floor balcony at the Casa Sur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires on October 16.

‘I am trying to do my best,’ she said, speaking via videolink from her hometown of New Jersey.

‘I have my better days, my harder days but I am surrounded by such a great support system and that has helped me so much with my healing journey, all my friends and family being supportive and helping me be productive.

‘Doing small things like yoga, going for a long walk, anything like that.’

She revealed that Liam’s death was her first true experience of grief.

‘It is really hard. I’ve never lost anyone close to me before so this is my first time going through this grief and healing journey,’ she said, her voice heavy with emotion.

‘He has impacted so many people in this world and I know I’m not alone in this, so many other people are grieving. It shows how much of an impact he had on people’s lives.

What are angel numbers – and what meaning do they have to Kate Cassidy?

Angel numbers are an aspect of numerology, an ideology with roots in Ancient Greece some 2,600 years ago.

People turn to them for guidance in life, attaching meanings to repeated sequences, such as ‘444’.

According to believers, the sequence – which Kate has had tattooed – can signify protection, encouragement and support from the spiritual realm.

Liam inscribed the number on a note, believed to be a manifestation note, in which he pledged he and Kate would be married within a year. He died before he could see his promise through.

Believers in the trend report seeing angel number sequences everywhere, from bills and receipts to the time on the clock.

‘He would light up any room he walked into and he had this sense of humour where he could make anything better and his presence was just comforting and warming and that is something I will never forget about him, ever.’

Kate granted the interview – her first on TV since Liam died – as part of a campaign by the Lorraine programme to get people moving for their mental health.

The campaign, called March4March, appealed to her because of the presence of the number four in its name.

She considers it her and Liam’s ‘angel number’, protecting and guiding her after his death.

Kate said: ‘That’s the first thing I noticed when I read into the campaign – the number four. It’s me and Liam’s angel number. I see it so often and it’s going to be involved in my life forever.’

Asked by Lorraine if it was comforting, she added that Liam had been very open about mental health – and that getting up and active had kept her positive, rather than spiralling by lying in bed and staring at old photos on her phone.

Kate continued: ‘Anybody should not be afraid to speak out. I know he would want me to be able to help anybody because he can no longer help people.

‘It really can make such a difference. I really enjoy walking, I consider myself an active person, but now I am going through this healing journey sometimes I find it hard to get out of bed in the morning but I have this responsibility, this obligation.

‘Rather than staying in bed all day scrolling through social media and old photos it really helps my mindset and my mental health.’

Lorraine noticed the model wearing what appeared to be an angel wing necklace.

Kate replied: ‘It is angel wings. It saw it a couple of weeks ago and it spoke to me and matches my angel wings tattoo. I wear it quite often and it makes me feel that bit closer to Liam.’

The March4March campaign, which is aimed at supporting the one in four Brits who suffer with low mood, encourages people to get out of their seats and get active.

Clinical research has proven exercise and movement is beneficial in aiding better mental health.

Pete Wicks, Tyler West, Vicky Pattison, Vogue Williams and Ellie Simmonds are among those who will also share their personal stories as part of the programme’s month-long mental health initiative.

Speaking shortly before Kate appeared on air, the show’s Dr Hilary Jones said: ‘It’s refreshing, it releases the happy hormones, reduces your cholesterol, reduces your blood pressure, and you feel so much better in yourself too.

‘It’s like nature putting its arms around you. It’s better than any medicine I can offer.’

Lorraine said before the interview: ‘I’m so pleased we are launching a campaign dedicated to destigmatizing the conversation around mental health.

‘I’m so grateful to the amazing names who’ve already agreed to bravely share their stories and pledge their support for such a worthy cause.

‘I’m looking forward to getting out walking and talking and I look forward to taking our amazing viewers along with me.’

Kate has mostly stayed away from the spotlight since Liam plummeted to his death from a third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires last October.

Court documents detailed how Liam then had a drug-fuelled threesome with two prostitutes in the hours before his death after booking them via a sex worker website.

Kate had returned home to Florida two days beforehand.

He then smashed the TV in his hotel room before ordering them to leave without being paid.

Payne plummeted to his death in a state of ‘semi or total unconsciousness’ after consuming a cocktail of alcohol and drugs and collapsing in the hotel lobby. He was carried back to his room by staff before he fell.

Prosecutors have indicted Braian Paiz and Ezequiel Pereyra, a waiter and a hotel worker accused of supplying Payne with drugs.

Hotel staff Esteban Grassi and Gilda Martín have been cleared of any responsibility for the singer’s death.

Rogelio ‘Roger’ Nores, an Argentinian oil executive and a friend of Payne’s, had been banned from leaving the country after investigators sought to implicate him in the star’s fatal plummet. He was cleared last month.

Prosecutors are, however, considering appeals against the decision to drop manslaughter charges.

Kate has openly expressed her grief on social media since Liam’s death – recently sharing an image of her standing amongst lights outside the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where she and Liam had once taken an intimate snap.

Marking her return to social media, she wrote: ‘I thought this place would feel empty without you, but instead, it’s filled with the warmth of this moment we shared.’

In a previous interview with The Sun, Kate revealed the couple had ‘our own separate lives’ as she spoke out for the first time following his death at the age of 31.

Kate had originally accompanied him to Argentina, ostensibly to watch his touring former bandmate Niall Horan perform at Buenos Aires venue Movistar Arena.

She left a day early in order to to look after their rescue dog, Nala at their home in Florida.

The social media influencer said she and Liam were not the sort of couple who would text all the time when apart and she now wishes she hadn’t left Argentina early.

She told The Sun: ‘It was a tragic accident and no, I never did think (he might die young). But, you know, we did have our own separate lives — this wasn’t the first time we have travelled separately.

‘I just never thought this would have happened, that it would turn out the way it did. It still doesn’t feel fully real for me that he’s not here.’

Kate has openly expressed her grief on social media since Liam’s death and on Monday posted her latest tribute

Sharing a snap of her phone, Kate appeared to have made herself a new beaded phone charm with the number ‘444’ and an ‘L’ laced through the thread.

Kate previously added the number 444 to her original tribute to Liam when she first broke her social media silence in October after his death.

The figure has several hidden meanings behind it and is considered an angel number in numerology.

Angel numbers are repeating sequences of digits, normally in sets of three or four, and they are believed to hold spiritual guidance.

In numerology, 444 is considered to be a sign that the ‘angels are with you’ and are ‘there to guide you step by step’.

The way the figures are formed means they represent stability and a reassurance that you are not alone.

After his death, she referenced the angel numbers as she revealed they had been planning to marry in the weeks leading up to his passing.
