Lady Kitty Spencer shares photos of daughter Athena enjoying a ‘magical’ Christmas in Monaco

Lady Kitty Spencer has shared images of her baby daughter’s first ‘magical’ Christmas in Monaco.

Princess Diana’s niece, 33, revealed a collection of sweet images showing her and daughter Athena enjoying festive season in the glitzy European enclave.

In many of the snaps, which the minor royal posted on Instagram on Christmas Eve, Lady Kitty is seen lovingly cradling her baby daughter as they visited lavishly decorated Christmas trees and took rides on a carousel at a grand amusement park.

The socialite and Athena – who she secretly gave birth to in March – posed up a storm in mirroring outfits, with Kitty donning a stylish tan coat and her daughter sporting a similar one in maroon red.

Lady Kitty’s husband, South African-born businessman Michael Lewis, 65, was not seen in the photographs.

The 33-year-old wrote on her page: ‘The most wonderful time of the year made even more magical seeing it through Athena’s eyes’.

The eldest child of Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, shared photos of herself and her daughter pictured against a backdrop of stunning Christmas decorations in Monaco.

One image captured a beautifully-lit sky and a gargantuan Christmas tree adorned with numerous multicoloured lights, baubles and a big gold star.

For the occasion, the stylish spokesmodel for Bulgari and Dolce & Gabbana wore a chic tan winter coat which she paired with black trousers. Her lustrous blonde locks were styled with a centre-part and lay effortlessly on her shoulders.

Her mini-me looked adorable in a cute maroon red winter jacket, which visibly emulated her mother’s own style.

In another adorable image, the mother and daughter duo put on a sweet display as they held hands while taking a ride on a carousel.

In many of the snaps, the various festive trees appeared to catch little Athena’s attention, particularly one accessorised with teddy bears, trains and other child-friendly ornaments.

While in her mother’s arms, the baby girl could be seen pointing to a brown teddy bear on the tree, and, in another picture, while sporting a cute winter hat, she grabbed hold of a stuffed animal.

Elsewhere, Lady Kitty was seen all glammed up in a black blazer and matching large black hair bow. She appeared to be getting ready for a night out as she posed without Athena.

Though the baby will soon mark her first birthday, Kitty only revealed her name for the first time a few months ago.

In July, the proud mother shared a new photo of her daughter on Instagram – and revealed her name to her followers in the caption.

The black-and-white image showed Kitty kissing her daughter’s head as she stood on a windowsill.

The image was taken by London-based photographer Susheel Schroeder, who has previously taken portraits for British Vogue’s beauty director Jessica Diner and reality star Vogue Williams.

Lady Kitty captioned the image: ‘Athena watching the world go by’.

Kitty wed multi-millionaire Michael Lewis aged 30 at the Villa Aldobrandini in Frascati, a stunning country mansion with views out towards Rome, on July 24th, 2021.

Having delayed their wedding for two years due to the pandemic, the celebrations stretched across three days and were attended by close friends including the pop star Pixie Lott and the Marchioness of Bath.

The model caught the eye of the business tycoon when they met through mutual friends in 2018 and got married in the sumptuous Italian wedding ceremony three years later.

But before she met her prince charming, Lady Kitty made a name for herself in the fashion world, as a spokesmodel for Dolce & Gabbana, who supplied five dresses for her wedding and walked in several Fashion Weeks across the globe.

Meanwhile, Michael knows a thing or two about fashion as well, being the chairman of the Foschini Group, which owns British high street chains Whistles and Phase Eight.

The tycoon is believed to be worth £80million, with a £19million property in London and another home in his native South Africa, where his Kitty grew up after her father Charles, the 9th Earl Spencer and his first wife, Victoria Lockwood, divorced.

The fashionista recently expressed how ‘extremely proud’ she was of her cousin Prince William’s work to support homeless charities.

She attended the Centrepoint Awards at the British Museum on Wednesday alongside the future king.

Dressed in a stunning Dolce & Gabbana custom gown – embroidered with a cityscape of Venice – and flanked by her twin sisters Lady Eliza and Lady Amelia Spencer – Lady Kitty said that William’s passion and commitment to the cause ‘inspires’ her deeply, in a rare personal tribute.

She told HELLO: ‘I’m extremely proud of my cousin Prince William for all that he does and continues to do to support Centrepoint and the vital work they provide to homeless young people.

‘His dedication to Centrepoint throughout the years has been unwavering, and his efforts have made a significant impact in raising awareness and driving positive change for those in need.’

She later took to Instagram to add it was a pleasure to celebrate and she was ‘so proud’ to be an ambassador for the charity.

Earl Charles Spencer’s daughter has been an ambassador for Centrepoint and said that the awards ceremony holds a special place in her heart.
