Kim Kardashian shocked viewers by whipping off her wig to reveal her real frazzled hair during the season six premiere of Hulu’s The Kardashians on Thursday.
The SKIMS founder, 44, made the big reveal during her sister Kourtney’s birthday breakfast at an IHOP in Los Angeles with their mom Kris, their sister Khloe and several of Kourtney’s pals also in attendance.
For the celebration, Kim wore a Balenciaga baseball cap over an obvious brunette wig that looked similar to her natural hair.
The episode was filmed just weeks before Kim debuted platinum blonde hair for a second time at the invite-only Met Gala on May 6, 2024.
Two years prior, Kim feared her hair would ‘fall out’ after bleaching it for 14 hours straight for her controversial Marilyn Monroe transformation at the 2022 event.
Talk of the upcoming Met Gala came up after Kourtney encouraged Kim to try the ‘best’ hot chocolate at IHOP.

‘I have the Met Ball coming up I don’t think I can eat it,’ replied the mother-of-four, who previously lost 16 pounds in just three weeks to fit into Marilyn’s famous Bob Mackie dress.
One of Kourtney’s friends then asked Kim to share details about ‘what [she’s] wearing’ for the 2024 Met Gala.
Kim told the pal that she is currently wearing a wig to keep her ‘blonde’ transformation under wraps before the event.
‘This is a wig,’ said Kim, to which Kourtney’s friend replied with a laugh: ‘Like duh, thanks. I can tell, I mean your hair is…’
‘My hair is blonde,’ Kim said. She then slowly removed her hat and wig from her head to reveal her bright blonde hair, where was styled in a bun with a middle part.
‘I am in the process of dying my hair for the Met,’ the billionaire businesswoman told viewers in confessional.
‘There will be times where you see me with brown hair and now I have blonde hair, so I will keep you guys guessing this season.’
