John F. Kennedy’s grandson Jack Schlossberg sat down with Jen Psaki and revealed the true intentions behind his outrageous digital footprint.
From falsely declaring he would be representing Justin Baldoni in court against Blake Lively to sharing an unsettling X post about his own grandmother’s ‘hotness,’ Schlossberg has baffled the internet with his nonsensical sentiments.
But in an episode of a new podcast, MSNBC’s The Blueprint with Jen Psaki, Schlossberg said the purpose of blasting his rants, off-putting opinions and bold-faced lies online is to garner confusion and anger – and many believe he has succeeded at that.
‘I would say you’ve been having some fun on social media, you’ve been messing with people’s heads a little bit on social media, but I think a lot of people may not understand what you’re up to a little bit,’ Psaki said, inviting Schlossberg to explain.
He told the former White House Press Secretary: ‘I use my judgment to make posts that I think are funny or silly but have a purpose, either to make you think this guy’s crazy. “Why is he talking about his own family that way?”
‘But to be honest, then you get all these retweets, quotes, and everybody flips out about it.’
Schlossberg also said there is a political motive driving him to post attention-grabbing content.
‘I think that the internet is a place where it’s difficult to break through, and it’s difficult to break through especially if you’re not saying something that’s controversial, or at least, somehow unexpected,’ he explained.

‘And I think that I see that Democrats play that game not as well as we could.
‘That’s kind of the game that the other side’s been playing really well, which is flipping people out – and getting a reaction is almost half the battle.’
The liberal activist said being controversial is the only was to ‘break through the internet, which he described as a ‘nuance destruction machine.’
He said part of Donald Trump’s presidential election success came down to his ‘risky’ online habits that democrats have yet to adopt.
Schlossberg reasoned: ‘People talk a lot about how democrats lost young men this election, and I think a huge part of that is not because we focused on the wrong policies, but because we seem so risk-averse and we seem so cautious.
‘I don’t think that in general young men find that as attractive as a more risk-on, kind of, say whatever you want attitude.’
Psaki also asked about Schlossberg’s infamous assertion that he was hired as Baldoni’s lawyer – a claim that made headlines despite being a complete and utter lie.
‘It just kind of came to me one night. I see everybody arguing online about Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively – two people that otherwise I don’t know anything about or have much invested in,’ he detailed to Psaki.

‘But I saw the entire country, seemingly the entire internet, flipping out over this while I was focused on kind of the change in administration and all the serious things that are going on.
‘And I thought, “isn’t this incredible? Our culture is obsessed with certain things and not others.”‘
He decided that an ‘out of the box’ way to make a point of the country’s warped priorities would be to say he was Baldoni’s attorney. Since Schlossberg does have a law degree, he had social media – and even news outlets – tricked at first.
‘People believed it – people printed it and believed it and they didn’t even check. TMZ reported it , a bunch of other people reported it,’ he went on.
‘Well that, I think, is part of your point,’ Psaki chimed in.
The conversation between Psaki and Schlossberg, which aired on Monday, was filmed before he went off all social media platforms on February 6.
‘I’m sorry to everyone I hurt, he wrote when announcing his social media exit.
‘I was wrong. I’m deleting all my social media. Forever. It’s been fun. Thanks anyways everyone.’

It is unclear if this was just another one of Schlossberg’s stunts or if he has truly had a change of heart.
After watching the podcast episode, viewers were also curious about what prompted Schlossberg to go offline. Psaki vaguely addressed the situation in an X post.
‘Some of you have asked…and I spoke with Jack Schlossberg this am and he seemed totally normal…which may be concerning on its own… (and yes he remains off his social accounts…for now..),’the political analyst wrote.
