A large fire with a front of more than 1km (0.62 miles) on Cornish moorland is being tackled by firefighters.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said it received reports of the incident on Rosenannon Downs near St Columb just after 19:30 GMT on Thursday with seven engines and four Land Rovers dispatched to the scene.
A fire service spokesperson said: “The fire has a front of over 1,000m and is being managed by the fire service. The fire is being allowed to burn to natural breaks.”
Flames from the fire were spotted for miles around with people posting about the incident on social media in surrounding areas including Newquay, St Columb and Wadebridge.
