Holly Willoughby shared a picture of herself covered in mud on the set of Celebrity Bear Hunt as she joked that co-star Bear Grylls had been ‘left in charge of her make-up’.
The competition show was set in the Costa Rican jungle, where 12 celebrities become prey for legendary survival expert, Bear.
And typically glossy Holly, 44, appeared to be taking the jungle in her stride as she posed for a selfie with the adventurer and shared the post on Instagram on Thursday.
Alongside Holly, Bear looked equally jungle-swept as he also had a face covered in mud.
Sharing the selfie with her 8.3million Instagram followers, Holly penned: ‘When @beargrylls is in charge of your makeup!… Thanks for the adventure Bear… total LEGEND!’
Meanwhile Bear took to his own social media to share his appreciation of Holly helping host the show.

Still covered in mud, Bear posed alongside Holly, who looked fresh in light blue denim shorts and a black T-shirt.
Sharing their snap inside the ‘Bear Pit’, the survival expert wrote: @hollywilloughby thanks for being such a rock for everyone throughout #BearHunt @netflix @netflixuk adventure!’
To which Holly replied: ‘Aww Bear! Thank you… loved every moment of working with you… I look way too clean in this photo…’
And it appears Holly has grown accustomed to the outdoors as she confessed to Graham Norton that Bear inspired her to do activities she would never normally agree to.
Speaking about her time on the new show, the former This Morning host told Graham during his show earlier this month that the show has ‘taken her totally out of her comfort zone’.
She said: ‘It is so nice to be doing something new and exciting and being on a proper adventure.
‘Working with Bear Grylls has taken me totally out of my comfort zone.
‘The magic of Bear is that he is really convincing and inspirational and even got me to do stuff and I am the scaredest person ever.’

As Bear puts them through their paces, those who fail to impress will face the dreaded ‘Bear Hunt’ – a brutal game of cat and mouse where they’ll be hunted down by Bear himself and, if captured, face elimination from the show.
Filming of the show was so intense that Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, 59, nearly died during a freak raft accident where he was dragged underwater for several heart-stopping moments after getting entangled in a bungee rope before being pulled to safety.
The drama also saw Lottie Moss, 27, broke down in tears while opening up on her failed rehab stint for substance abuse and depression that ‘didn’t work’.
The former OnlyFans creator candidly told her co-stars that her 2022 stay ‘didn’t work’ and that she was about to go into rehab again before starting the show.
