Donald Trump fans have been left stunned after hearing the president’s ‘real laugh’ for the first time in a recently resurfaced clip.
One user on X, formerly Twitter, shared an old snippet from Trump’s reality TV competition series The Celebrity Apprentice.
In it, the now 78-year-old was going to be late for the Season 5 live finale so he asked for ‘the fastest driver anywhere in the world’ to step in.
As he walked out of Trump Tower in New York City, he was greeted by Mario Andretti, a former Formula One driver, who sat in an F1 race car outside the building.
‘I’m really glad it’s you,’ he told Mario, ‘Let’s go.’
Mario responded: ‘Hop in Mr. Trump. Don’t worry, I won’t mess up your hair.’
The scene then cut to Mario revving the engine with Trump strapped in behind him wearing his suit and red tie.
Trump said, ‘Step on it! We’re late!’ before they sped down the streets of Manhattan.

As they pulled up in front of the National History Museum and came to a stop, the camera zoomed in on Trump’s smiling face and tousled hair.
‘Thanks, Mario,’ he said as he laughed in shock at the speedy ride.
Appearing to momentarily break character, Trump had a genuine smile on his face as he let our a hearty laugh and said, ‘Wow. Holy s**t.’
Mario responded: ‘Anytime, boss. Good luck with the show.’
Trump was then filmed walking up the steps of the museum, now back in character, but the lighthearted moment did not go unnoticed by viewers.
‘He actually chuckled and gave a genuine smile. I’ve never seen that from him,’ a user commented on the resurafaced clip.
Someone responded to the above comment by saying: ‘I was just thinking that I don’t think I’ve ever seen him actually laugh.’
The initial commenter said the X user who posted the video had ‘found gold.’

‘The acting was bad but the laugh at the end was real,’ another person observed.
‘Never seen him laugh like that,’ someone commented.
‘Uh, this is actually a big deal. It’s the first clip I’ve ever seen where we actually see him do a real laugh. A human laugh. This is wild,’ a user reflected.
‘[It] was as funny when Trump was getting ready to continue being the character, but couldn’t stop himself from laughing and being happy that he got to ride in a Formula One car,’ someone said.
