Coronation Street fans were left open-mouthed after ‘only just realising’ that Izzy Armstrong star Cherylee Houston is married to a major soap star.
The actress, 50, who has played the machinist in the ITV show since 2010, has a famous other half that many don’t know about.
Cherylee is actually married to actor and comedian Toby Hadoke, 51.
Toby, who runs XS Malarkey comedy club, has appeared in various TV shows throughout his career.
And he’s even landed a role in his wife’s show Coronation Street.
Toby has appeared on the ITV show as a traffic warden called Fergus Dunford 15 times since 2021.

Toby has appeared in Coronation Street as Fergus Dunford 15 times since 2021 – but did you recognise him?
Not only that, he’s also been a vicar, doctor and Chris Baxter on the show too.
He’s also appeared as Registrar Rhodes in Emmerdale, Alphonso Decker in Holby City and a manager in Shameless.
After sharing a snap of the pair on Facebook, fans couldn’t believe that Toby has been in the same soap as his wife.
One questioned in the comments section: ‘How come I recognise him?’
Another pointed out: ‘I remember him from Corrie I think, didn’t know at the time they were together.’
Speaking about working together with Coronation Street updates, Toby said of his wife: ‘She’s great, because she’s such a good actor.
‘She’s brilliant at bringing attention to the importance of disability representation and all of that sort of thing.’
Although the pair do like to keep their relationship out of the spot light, Cherylee did recently gush about her husband on Instagram.

The soap star has played roles in the likes of The Bill, Holby City and Emmerdale.
She joined Corrie in 2010 and played her alter-ego Izzy for 10 years.
She rejoined the cast again briefly in 2021 and the following year.

Her character has been involved in a number of storylines over the past 15 years.
Some include her use of marijuana and her relationship with Gary Windass.
