Rathlin Island is one of the few places left in Northern Ireland where you will hear the sound of a corncrake.
Since the 1970s, the corncrake population has hugely declined leading to them becoming a red listed species in the UK and Ireland.
To help them thrive on Rathlin, volunteers are helping to harvest nettle roots and bring them across to the island.
The birds use them to nest in before the grass has grown longer.
