Britney Spears is stronger than yesterday after a shocking surprise visit on Christmas from her two estranged sons Sean and Jayden Federline.
The Lucky singer, 43, shared her joy on Instagram yesterday by posting a video with Jayden, 18 – who, along with his older brother Sean, 19 – is from her two-year marriage to rap artist Kevin Federline, 46, which ended in 2007.
Although Sean was not seen in the video, sources speaking to DailyMail.com revealed that her first born was, in fact, very much present for Britney’s surprise.
A source said: ‘Sean and Jayden surprised Britney on Christmas and she was absolutely blown away.
‘Needless to say, she was a sobbing happy mess and couldn’t pull herself together because of how happy she was. It was so sweet.’
In an emotional clip shared with her 42 million Instagram followers, Britney could be seen kissing Jayden on the cheek.

It has been over two years since Sean and Jayden have been face-to-face with their mother, who was released from a 13-year conservatorship in 2019.
Since regaining her freedom, the Toxic singer has garnered a lot of negative criticism over her over-the-top Instagram videos.
Some of these videos, in which she often looks frazzled, show her dancing around in her living room. One alarming video featured her holding a fake knife.
In other videos, Britney makes her sexuality a central focus, with the singer often appearing topless. In a recent documentary, both Sean and Jayden said that these concerning videos bothered them.
‘For the past two years, she has tried so hard to become the mother that they needed her to be,’ the source told DailyMail.com.
‘They stopped looking at her social media all together and started only focusing on how she treated them because they know that social media is just her playing a character.

Britney was married to Sean and Jayden’s father Kevin Federline from 2004 until 2007. After paying $20k a month in child support for 17 years, it ended last month (they’re seen in 2005)

In June, DailyMail.com was the first to report that Britney rekindled her relationship with her sons. At the time, she shared on her Instagram that she was texting with both of them.
In August 2023, Kevin, Sean and Jayden moved to Hawaii, along with Kevin’s wife of 10 years, Victoria Prince, and their two daughters Jordan, 12, and Payton, nine.
Following Britney’s divorce from Kevin in 2007, she embarked on a very public meltdown. Kevin was awarded sole custody of the boys just weeks before she was placed into a conservatorship in 2008.
Her life and finances were controlled by her dad, Jamie Spears, 72, during that time and although she was able to see her sons, it was at the whim of Kevin.
In an exclusive interview for ITV in August 2022, Kevin confirmed Britney had not seen her sons for nearly six months, with the pair not in attendance at her wedding to Sam Asghari in June that year.
Jayden stressed there was ‘no hate’ between the boys and their mother, but he admitted that ‘it will take a lot of time and effort’ to repair their fractured relationship.
The teenager added: ‘I 100 percent think this can be fixed. It’s just going to take a lot of time and effort.
‘I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better I really want to see her again.’
For 17 years, Britney paid Kevin nearly $20,000 a month in child support.
Several months after the ITV interview aired, Sean turned 18 years old, which was the age that the child supports made to Kevin on his behalf ceased.
One year later, in September 2024, Britney’s child support payments made to Kevin on Jayden’s behalf ended.
The singer made her final payment to Kevin one month ago, in November.
In recent months, Britney’s fortune has skyrocketed due, in part, from the rights to her upcoming biopic The Woman In Me being purchased by Universal Pictures to be made into a feature film.
