Demanding the arrest of BJP ally Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party MLA Bedi Ram for his alleged involvement in the NEET paper leak, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav questioned the BJP govt in UP over its delay in taking action against the legislator.
Posting a video of Bedi Ram on his X account where the MLA could purportedly be heard boasting about his ability to get papers leaked, Akhilesh wrote: “Do we need further proof of the extent to which BJP-supported leaders had swooped down morally? These leaders are playing with the future of our children.Parents who have voted for BJP are not only already regretting it but have also taken a resolve that they will never vote for the BJP in future. He should be immediately arrested.”
