A majority of Americans believe Melania Trump is a good influence on her husband Donald Trump, a new poll from DailyMail.com found, and they called her a ‘beautiful’ person.
The poll, conducted with J.L. Partners, also showed Melania Trump has a high approval rating. The words Americans used to describe her also included ‘classy,’ and ‘elegant.’
Melania returned to the spotlight last week when she restarted her Be Best initiative and attended President Trump’s speech to Congress.
She traveled from the White House to Capitol Hill with the president. And she smiled and applauded from her box in the House chamber as he spoke.
Melania also joined him at a formal dinner at the White House for the nation’s governors, and Trump has praised his wife and her work.
Americans believe that support goes both ways.
In the poll, 40 percent said they believe the first lady is a good influence on her husband.
The poll was conducted March 5-7 among a sample of 1,019 registered voters with a 3.4 percent margin of error.

Her son is in his freshman year at New York University.
She’s also been focused on wrapping up filming for her documentary that will air on Amazon this fall.
And she’s been working on her private business initiatives, including her own cryptocurrency.
But last week she was in the Capitol to relaunch her Be Best campaign.
It was her first solo event as the newly minted First Lady. She was there to support the ‘TAKE IT DOWN’ act – aimed at protecting Americans from deepfake and revenge pornography.
She joined lawmakers in speaking out against revenge porn and deepfakes generated by AI.
In her speech, she slammed Democrats for their lack of support on the issue.
‘I expected to see more Democrat leaders with us here today to address this serious issue. Surely as adults, we can prioritize America’s children ahead of partisan politics,’ she said.
She’s also preparing for future events at the White House.
The first lady announced the annual White House Easter Egg roll will take place April 21st.
And she announced the Spring Garden tours will begin April 5th.
