Swansea City 0-0 Briton Ferry Llansawel: Swansea missed the chance to clinch their place in the Championship Conference ahead of the league split after being held to a goalless draw by Briton Ferry. Robyn Pinder and Stacey John-Davis were among those to go closest to scoring for the Swans, but the points were ultimately shared in Llandarcy. As a result of Wrexham’s win against The New Saints, the Swans – who are fourth – sit just two points above the north Wales side with one match to play before the split. Briton Ferry stay second and are now five points behind league leaders Cardiff City. Swansea face Wrexham in their final phase one league fixture in what will be a straight shootout for fourth spot, with the Swans needing to avoid defeat in their quest to finish in the top four.
Wrexham 1-0 The New Saints: Lili Jones’ late goal ensured Wrexham beat The New Saints to remain in the hunt to compete in the Championship Conference in the second phase of the season. Jones netted her third goal of the campaign in all competitions in the 88th minute at The Rock as Wrexham – currently fifth – moved within two points of Swansea courtesy of victory against TNS. The Saints stay third, seven points adrift of league leaders Cardiff City. A win for Wrexham against Swansea on 23 February will see those in red leapfrog the Swans.
